St. Mark’s Anglican Church is looking for a Music Ministry Coordinator beginning in January of 2019. We have had a long tradition of excellent music at St. Mark’s. Healey Willan once said that music is the handmaiden of liturgy and we believe that to be true at St. Mark’s.   We are looking for an experienced organist and vocal coach who has directed choirs. You will be someone who will encourage and nurture musical church members to give of their musical gifts as choir members and instrumentalists. The successful candidate will also be one who can integrate music from traditional Anglican hymnody with popular and modern worship music.

Our musical resources include a Wm. Knabe & Co. Grand Piano, a two manual Allen Organ, a Roland digital piano, talented musicians (flute, guitar, cello, banjo) who are willing to help out from time to time, and a large sized choir. Remuneration will be in accordance withRCCOrecommended salaries. Please include your RCCO level along with your qualifications and experience in your resume. We are looking for a commitment of 6-8 hours per week which includes one service on Sunday and a choir practice one evening during the week.
